Photography

While my primary passion has always been video, I also developed a deep love for photography in college. Capturing the essence of a moment in a single frame can be incredibly powerful. At RetailMeNot, I frequently photographed events, head-shots, and social media content. Recently, my professional focus has shifted to live music photography. I’ve had the privilege of capturing a few of the Austin Songwriters Collective’s monthly events, where emerging musicians perform and share the stories behind their songs. I’m including some highlights from those events in this section.

When I first learned photography it was with 35mm film, and it has held a special place in my heart ever since. Although I previously pursued film photography only as a personal hobby, I have recently invested in more professional equipment and am eager to begin to integrate 35mm photography into my professional work.
